SUBCUTANEOUS IMMUNOTHERAPY

Our treatments and supplemented medications attack immune disorders that give rise to allergies. It is the only solution that treats the origin of the disease.

Causes of Allergies

Substances known as allergens, which our immune system considers foreign & potentially dangerous causes allergies. To defend itself, it manufactures Immunoglobulin E, which will later bind to the allergens, triggering the symptoms of an allergy.

Diagnosis of Allergies

The diagnosis of an allergy is made using simple tests – both skin / prick tests and blood tests. Provocation tests reproduce the allergic symptoms in the affected target organ. To confirm the diagnosis of the allergy to a particular substance, blood tests are often conducted, demonstrating the presence of specific antibodies against a substance or allergen suspected of causing the allergic reaction.

Respiratory Allergies

These allergies cause conjunctivitis with itching, redness & runny eyes, itching, redness & inflammation of the skin, rhinitis with nasal itching, sneezing, rhinorrhea & nasal blockage, itching of the throat & asthma symptoms like coughing, wheezing, choking sensation & chest tightness. Depending on the severity of the symptoms, allergies can cause poor sleep quality.

Bee & Wasp Venom Allergy

Hymenoptera allergy causes redness, swelling, itching & pain at the sting site, fever, dizziness, collapsing or fainting, generalised urticaria, angioedema, chest tightness & breathing difficulty, cardiac arrhythmia & cardiorespiratory arrest, vomiting, diarrhea and severe systemic allergic reactions that can lead to anaphylaxis and/or anaphylactic shock. Administration of Treatment

Medical Centre

Treatment is administered weekly at a medical centre by a subcutaneous injection in the arm, the first few weeks, and monthly, during the rest of the treatment.

Aftercare

It is advised not to do physical exercise during the first 3 hours after administration of the treatment. Scratching of the skin should also be avoided.

Professional Advice

In case of a local reaction, a cold compress should be applied to the affected area. A healthcare professional should also be consulted.

Take Back Control

More than 500 million people worldwide have allergies. Many of them suffer because they believe the way ahead is too confusing. Our vaccines causes desensitization, reducing the body’s sensitivity to the allergen. It progressively modifies the immune response against the allergen, preventing the occurrence of an allergic reaction.
